I thought it would be fun to create an old newspaper, but as a simple self-promotion. Rather than just say, this is what I do, I’ll just show you.
The paper is made up of several papers combined through blending modes, opacity and other blend settings. The only things that I did not create, but borrowed are the two ads (Wrigley’s & Dr. Pepper). I could have created those, but that just would have taken longer. This was meant to be quick and fun. Also, the Adobe’s software icons, I borrowed. Those are clearly out of place for a paper that looks like it may belong in the mid-1900’s.
Often when a film already has an Art Director, they sometimes need a Graphic Artist to create things like this newspaper, or labels for products, or whatever. I can do that.
