I am reworking my site to include, not just film, but other areas such as art, photography and more.
Back in the day, we as art students were taught to focus in an area or two. For some reason, I ended up crossing various creative fields. However, my roots has been drawing and coming up with imaginative creatures and environments.
Due to my education and experience in a variety of areas, it aids me in higher education as a faculty. I can communicate with just about any student within any creative field. In fact, I have taught college for more than a decade. I have taught foundations of art & design, graphic design, concept art, film, creative software and photography.
I work on different independent projects as a Production Designer or an Art Director. But I do a lot more within those titles, such as concept work, graphic art, set design and much more that does not show up on credits. You can see some of my credits on IMDb: www.imdb.com/name/nm3220400
I do a lot of commercial style work in photography. Most of my work has a fashion look to it. I do have a growing portfolio of composite photography, which lends to my strengths in Photoshop. I have been working in photography professionally since 2005.
Art & Design
I mentioned that my roots have been in drawing and in painting. When I first entered college, I entered in as a Fine Art student. That quickly changed when life took a turn and I then became a Graphic Designer. I did return to drawing and painting as an Illustrator focusing on entertainment design; concept art, character development, environments and more.
I currently teach at Broadview Entertainment Arts University (BEAU) mostly as a film instructor. But I have also taught at The Art Institute of Salt Lake City, California State University, Los Angeles, Art Center College of Design and Glendale Community College. I have also done events and conventions, like at Adobe near Thanksgiving Point, Utah.
I receive my education at both Art Center College of Design and Ricks College.
